Commissioned portraits

These two paintings are examples of commissioned works I completed for buyers. The first painting is from a photograph that was forty years old. I had some difficulty picking out the fine detail from the print, but overall, I was quite pleased with the results and so was the buyer.

Second one I just love. Mind you, she is a beautiful little girl to begin with. How could she not turn out beautiful in a painting.

If you have any interest in having one of your own photographs painted, drop me a line and we can chat about it. I love painting in black in white, it just seems to add such a comtemporary look to the painting.

I recently approached Lori to paint a portrait of my mother which was very old and also near and dear to her heart. The original photograph, as you can imagine, was faded, and somehwat grainy, just from age. My mother has always treasured this picture and had hoped to have this painted some day as it represented a very special occasion in her life. I had the opportunity to view a number of Ms. Mirabelli's works along with the original photograhs that she was working from. I was truly impressed with her attention to detail and incredible ability to capture the person behind the photo. I would not hesitate to comminssion Lori again, and I would highly recommend that you do the same. You will not be disapppointed and you will be captured by her sheer, raw talent.

I as well had Lori paint what I think turned out to be an absolutely beautiful picture of my daughter. Lori captured the innocence and beauty of my daughter so well; it nearly brought me to tears. Lori was able to produce this painting from a picture we had. The painting in truth is more real to life than the actual picture with her having so realistically captured her eyes which is definitely the focus of this portrait. I can say with all certainty that I would not hesitate to have Lori do another portrait for me and may do so in the future as my daughter grows. Her talent and professionalism is evident in the picture you see before you.
